Office: Revenue Services Department: Bus Operations
Job Description: Under the direction of the Regional Manager or designate, responsible for bus and vehicle fleet maintenance, utlization of maintenance manpower, maintenance and security of the vehicles, facilities, and grounds. Coordinate and direct the maintenance staff in daily operations, training/testing, monitoring productivity, quality of work, and adherence to established standards. Use Oracle System to initiate and tract work orders. Administer Pace policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and develop and implement these programs and practices. Assist with maintenance budgets and staffing planning, review purchasing costs and stockroom activities. Participate in grievance hearings, labor/management and staff meetings. Provide technical expertise and knowledge to assist and support the maintenance staff/division vehicle fleet. Other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or G.E.D., Vocational/technical diploma. Must have Certification ASE Refrigerant, CDL-A, DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate. Must have a minimum of four years maintenance experience, minimum two years management experience in an exempt position and have excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in computer word processing programs and computer applications to the extent required by specific job functions, and must be prepared to write documents related to job duties using the word processing applications. Must be able to work any shift and any day of time of the week. Must have excellent attendance and work history.
