Senior Grant Projects Administrator

Under the direction of the Section Manager-Grant Administration or designate, writes and develops all operating and capital grant applications, administers all aspects of non-traditional grants including but not limited to preparing monthly/quarterly status reports, seeks concurrences from funding agencies in accordance with contract provisions, oversees compliance of non-traditional grant contracts, prepares all financial data and Letters of Credit, reviews invoice support, processes invoices, assists in the development of Pace's annual capital budget, prepares quarterly financial information for the monitoring of Pace's capital backlog, monitors federal changes in various grants that may impact Pace including but not limited to Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), prepares specialized reports concerning grant backlogs and grants expirations, pursues new Notice Of Funding Opportunities (NOFO) by performing review of the information and determining project eligibility based on Pace's needs, and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Public Administration and a minimum of 5 years previous grant administration experience; have experience with Oracle Grant Accounting module and be familiar with various government applications including but not limited to U. S. Government's System for Award Management (SAM), and Grants.Gov to the extent required by job functions; possess aptitude in reading and comprehending federal circulars, federal registers, contracts and specifications; be proficient in Microsoft Suites and FTA Transit Award Management System (TrAMS); be detail oriented; have strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills; and have the ability to successfully meet deadlines.
