Under the direction of the General Counsel, the Insurance Liaison will coordinate annual renewal of all property and casualty insurance policies; review, approve, interpret, and monitor insurance certificates and policies to ensure vendor compliance with contracts; establish insurance requirements for contracts; review and provide insurance and indemnification language for contracts; handle insurance related vendors, audits and inspections; handle first party property claims, represent Pace on the RTA's Loss Financing Plan Committee and handle other insurance related matters as assigned.
Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent; Insurance Industry designation (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or Associate in Risk Management (ARM), CPCU preferred; and a minimum of ten years' experience in working with commercial property and casualty insurance - prior experience working with transit risks is preferred. The qualified candidate must also have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, an excellent work history, and intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and Adobe.
