Under the direction of the Section Manager, ERP Application Services. The Oracle Application Technician is responsible for the design and delivery of reports, interfaces, conversion, and enhancements for the Oracle ERP applications on-premise and in the Oracle Cloud. Will provide technical support, maintenance, and enhancement of all Oracle EBS modules currently in production or planned for deployment across production and non-production instances; configure, setup, and implement functional specifications covering modules, interfaces, data conversions and reports and/or oversee the work of consultant's performing this function; ensure that Oracle EBS software meets business requirements and goals, fulfills user requirements, and identifies and resolves systems issues. Interact with Oracle customer care for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies; evaluate, install, configure, and deploy Oracle applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise; recommend any additional hardware or software requirements needed for successful Oracle deployments, configuration, or maintenance; evaluate proposals to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations; coordinate feasibility studies for Oracle products under consideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings; ensure that any Oracle integration into company systems meet functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications and prepare and deliver activity and progress reports for presentation to the executive management team.
Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree to computer science, information systems, business administration, or similar discipline. Master's degree is preferred. The candidate should have 5 to 12 years of global large-scale ERP implementation experience with Oracle e-Business (EBS) Suite R12 and 11i., as well as proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of Oracle software solutions having to do with Oracle EAM, OBIEE, APEX, Purchasing, etc. Must be proficient in computer word processing programs and computer applications to the extent required by specific job functions, and must be prepared to write documents related to job duties using the word processing applications. Work is performed in a normal office environment with typical ranges of temperature and background noise. Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects of up to 20 pounds is expected.
