Senior Project Manager, Coordinated Projects

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Manager of Contract Administration, the Senior Project Manager of Coordinated Projects would manage the coordination of Local, County and inter-county Paratransit Services. This position is responsible for preparing Inter-Governmental Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, Local Share Agreements, Supplemental Funding Agreements and other as needed agreements and appropriate documents in the implementation of coordinated services with local stakeholders. This includes use of CCAM initiatives and best practices for public transportation coordination. The Senior Project Manager of Coordinated Projects is responsible for overseeing Sr. Project Managers working with County and Local Paratransit coordination councils; contracted mobility management call centers services and service carriers. This position supervises/oversees contractor performance, acts as liaison between Pace and community groups/government entities. In addition, this position is responsible for; Project Management and service analysis reports; the management of contract/vendor payment and local invoicing processes; coordinates the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Prepares RFP for service procurement; develops annual project operating budget and monitors operating expenses and revenues; implements/monitors Pace required training of mobility management call center staff; conducts monthly contract evaluations; develops procedural manual and maintains Operations Manual; works closely with IT and Paratransit staff to assist in the implementation of data and voice communication hardware and software and computer equipment used in the operations of central mobility management call centers. Makes recommendations for ongoing development of service efficiencies. Other duties as assigned to support the Pace mission and goals.

Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent work experience, five (5) years experience in Paratransit Transportation Project Management and or Service Coordination, preferably in a public sector environment. Experience with FTA ADA Paratransit Transportation and Title VI. Must be highly proficient in the use of computer software; specifically, Microsoft Office Suite, with special emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook, along with familiarity of Oracle accounting software and Trapeze scheduling and routing software. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills necessary to write agreements and prepare documents related to the duties of the job. Must have the ability to respond quickly within a dynamic environment with tight deadlines. Some Government procurement and or preparation of RFP experience is preferred. Qualified candidate must have a good work history and possess a current and valid driver's license. Candidate must have excellent written and oral skills. Applicant must be able to undertake public speaking. No unusual physical or environmental requirements. Must be able to manage traveling by vehicle within the six (6) county RTA region and access other modes of transportation to travel outside of the RTA region. This includes carrying equipment and documents needed. This position is safety sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing in compliance with FTA DOT regulations and Pace.
