Operations Administrator - Quality Assurance

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Project Manager, Quality Assurance, this position is responsible for investigating and responding to customer complaints, requests or complaints from the Office of Executive Inspector General (OEIG), Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD), Regional Transit Authority (RTA), municipalities and local townships, Pace Board of Directors and other service boards. Responsibilities include monitoring service performance plans, tracking all special investigations and providing passenger trip and fare information in compliance with Pace policy and procedures. The Operations Administrator-QA position provides support services for the oversight of the various Pace paratransit program and or projects including but not limited to: Mobility Direct, Taxi Access program, ADA paratransit services, local dial a ride programs and local coordinated paratransit projects. This position is also responsible for monitoring the Paratransit contacted carriers for compliance with Pace contractual requirements and federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to the provision of ADA Paratransit. In addition, this position is responsible for (1) preparing and providing Paratransit information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requested by the Pace Legal Department, this includes (2) assisting with handling Call-In reports; (3) processing A&I reports; (4) assisting with accident investigations and documentation: (5) monitoring compliance with the FTA ADA Paratransit and Title VI Civil Rights regulations for the various contracted carriers and municipalities, including site visits/audits; (6) preparing project status reports to management; (7) assists with day-to-day operations in all areas of Paratransit. The Operations Administrator-QA position is required to perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and mission of Pace as a public transportation agency.

Qualified candidate must have at least three (3) years operations experience in Paratransit, Mobility Management, Demand Response transit service, or equivalent relevant work experience. Transportation Regulatory Compliance experience and knowledge of FTA DOT ADA regulations are preferred. A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience required. Candidate must have the ability to interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner. Candidate must have a good math aptitude. Budget experience and knowledge of general accounting practices are preferred. Candidate must have good writing skills. Candidate must have excellent written and oral skills. Candidate must be able to undertake public speaking. Applicant must have a good work history and possess a current and valid driver's license. This position is safety sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing compliance with FTA DOT regulations. Must be able to manage traveling by vehicle within the six (6) county RTA region and access other modes of transportation to travel outside of the RTA region. This includes carrying equipment and documents.
