Senior Project Manager, Suburban Services
Under the direction of the Senior Project Manager of Coordinated Projects, this position coordinates Local, County and inter-county Paratransit Services; is responsible for working with County and Local Paratransit Coordination Councils; administers dispatch/scheduling services, supervises/oversees contractor performance and is a liaison between pace and community groups/government entities. In addition, this position is responsible for the production of monthly project status reports; develops annual project operating budgets and monitors project and contract operating expenses and revenues; process monthly contractor payments and local share invoices; implements/monitors Pace required training of Dispatchers/Schedulers; conducts contractor evaluations; develops procedural manual and assist with maintenance of the Operation Manual; works closely with IT and Paratransit staff to assist in the implementation of mobile data and voice communication hardware and software; Pace computer equipment installed for call/dispatch centers, and oversees contracted services to ensure compliance with Pace service guidelines, state, local and federal requirements. This position is required to perform other duties as assigned to support the Pace mission and goals.
Qualified candidate must have at least (3) years operations experience in Paratransit, Mobility Management or equivalent relevant managerial or work experience. Management experience, a Bachelor's Degree, and prior demand response, advance reservation and dispatching experience are preferred. Candidate should have the ability to work with numerous communities, social and municipal agencies. A good math aptitude, budget experience and accounting knowledge are also preferred. Previous experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Oracle, database programs and other reporting software is required. Knowledge of Trapeze is preferred. Candidate must have excellent written and oral skills. Applicant must be able to undertake pubic speaking. Applicant must have a good work history and possess a current and valid driver's license. This position is safety sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing in compliance with FTA DOT regulations and Pace. Must be able to manage traveling by vehicle within the six (6)county RTA region and access other modes of transportation to travel outside of the RTA region. This includes carrying equipment and documents.
