Paratransit TripCheck

We know our riders have places to be and schedules to keep, and we're always looking for new ways to help them get from place to place. We're pleased to announce an innovative new service, available today, that will help you keep track of your Pace Paratransit trips in the city and the suburbs. (It will also work on Pace-operated Dial-a-Rides.)

TripCheck is a new tool to view and cancel scheduled rides without having to call a carrier. You can access it today at PaceBus.com/TripCheck! If you want to cancel a trip, you must do so two or more hours before its scheduled time. You can also view past trip details.

Paratransit riders in the City of Chicago, suburban paratransit riders, and users of Pace-operated Dial-a-Ride services can all use TripCheck.

Paratransit riders in the City of Chicago, suburban paratransit riders, and users of Pace-operated Dial-a-Ride services can all use TripCheck.

To apply, you just need to email TripCheck@PaceBus.com. Your email should include:

  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Home & mailing address
  • Home & cell numbers
  • Email address
  • ADA certification number (if applicable)

We'll then set up your account and email you a client ID and a temporary password.

Once you've set up your password, you're good to go! Visit PaceBus.com/TripCheck to log in.

Once you're in, you can see all the trips you currently have scheduled and pull up a map of pickup and dropoff locations. You can check your itinerary, and--if you'd like--you can cancel them (only if there are more than two hours until your scheduled pickup; otherwise, please call your carrier). Notice you can even see old trips on TripCheck, too.

To apply for and use TripCheck, you need to have an email address, an active client file with Pace Paratransit, and a desktop computer or mobile phone that can run any common, up-to-date web browser. That's all there is to it!

How long does signup take?
Applying is as easy as sending us an email. We'll get back to you with your account information within two business days.

Can I book new trips?
You can check or cancel trips using TripCheck, but you can't book them.

Is TripCheck accessible?
TripCheck is an accessible, ADA-compliant application.
