Due to ongoing low ridership and performance issues, Saturday service on Route 546 will be eliminated. The last Saturday served will be March 2, 2019.
Pace based its decision to eliminate Saturday service on this route on an extensive review of ridership, efficiency, and productivity on all routes across the region. Comments on proposed eliminations were accepted at a series of public hearings in October 2018.
Passengers may be able to use other Pace services, including:

- Pace RideShare, which matches riders with similar commutes to set up carpools, and Pace Vanpool, which provides such groups with a van for a low monthly cost. Visit PaceRideShare.com or PaceVanpool.com or call (847) 593-7665 to learn more.
No changes are being made to weekday service on Route 546 at this time.
Updated timetables dated March 4, 2019 will soon be available on buses, at PaceBus.com and by calling (847) 228-7223, option 3.
