Job Description:
The Paratransit Invoice Specialist is responsible for processing payments and invoices for various Pace paratransit programs and projects requiring excellent math aptitude, analytical skills, and attention to detail. This position assists with administering Pace paratransit programs and projects including ADA Paratransit services, local Dial-A-Ride programs. local coordinated paratransit services, and Rideshare projects. Responsibilities include reconciling monthly contractor invoices with Pace database system, processing contractor/vendor payments and invoices in a timely manner. This includes confirming accuracy of data by generating multiple service data reports and conducting a detailed analysis. Performs efficient and accurate job functions requiring the use of the various software programs utilized by Pace. Monitors contractors' Purchase Order balances and local share subsidy balances. Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and annual fiscal reports for all Paratransit Division programs. Assists with contractor audits and budget development. Answers service inquires, composes, and disseminates information and communicates with internal and external customers, including local service sponsors, contractors, public officials, public and private services agencies, and other Pace departments. Provides support for daily operation of service as required, including unexpected occurrences. Performs other duties as assigned. Must be open to work schedule changes as needed to meet public transit demand. Works in an office environment. Is required to travel to Pace project sites within the six-county RTA region and as needed be able to travel outside of the RTA region. Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds. This position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience in a similar role with good work history, and at minimum have a high school diploma or equivalent or related field. Must have an Intermediate level of proficiency in the use of computer software, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) and Adobe. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have attention to detail, strong math and analysis skills, organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize are required. Must be able to meet deadlines and adapt to a dynamic environment. Must be open to work schedule changes as needed to meet public transit service demand. Must be able to work in an office environment, while also being required to travel to Pace project sites within the six-county RTA region and as need be able to travel outside of the RTA region. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform other duties as assigned. This position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing
