Job Description:
Under the direction of the Section Manager, Treasury & Revenue Accounting, the Accounting Technician is responsible for:
- Processing ticket orders for selling locations, Ticket By Mail (TBM) and Ticket By Internet (TBI).
- Assisting customers with navigating the Pace Internet On-Line Store and other pass/ticket purchasing questions and support, monitor sales and payments and verifying returned tickets.
- Other tasks will include mail distribution, scanning invoices and auditing check and electronic payments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalency; Associate’s degree preferred
Proficiencies:
Must have good aptitude for numbers and must be proficient using computers including Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience using Oracle is preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, strong math and analysis skills, organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, and prioritize, are required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment, with the majority of the working hours consisting of computer work and packing orders for shipment to customers. The typical workday is conducted over an 8-hour period and can begin as early as 7:00 am and end no later than 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. However, the business needs of Pace may result in work schedules outside the typical hours/workdays.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after successful completion of a 6-month job introduction period.
Salary:
Full Salary Range: $38,123 – 75,194
Midpoint: $56,659
Starting Salary Range: $47,391 to $56,659
