Job Description:
Under the direction of the Section Manager, Graphic Services, or designee, the Delivery/Inventory Coordinator will pick up from and deliver mail, bus schedules, forms, paper, and other items to all Pace divisions, Pace paratransit, the printshop, and municipalities as needed. Essential functions include:
- maintaining a weekly written schedule and coordinating internally with various departments to facilitate delivery needs.
- making unscheduled and emergency deliveries as needed.
- maintaining a delivery log of all deliveries.
- Keeping the schedule storage area at the printshop neat and organized.
- Working with the fleet vehicle coordinator to maintain the Pace owned delivery vehicle.
This position is not eligible for hybrid schedule or telecommuting.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalency
Experience:
Must have one to two years of delivery experience and a good work record.
Certifications:
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Proficiencies:
Must be proficient with computers including using Microsoft Office Outlook.
Must be able to work independently and under pressure with time-sensitive materials.
Knowledge of the six-county service area is highly advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
This position consists of a considerable amount of driving throughout the six-county service area with worked performed in all weather conditions. The workday is 8 hours and can begin as early as 7:00am and end no later than 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. However, the business needs of Pace may result in work schedules outside the typical hours/workdays.
This position is not eligible for hybrid schedule or telecommuting.
Salary:
Full Salary Range: $32,990-65,069
Midpoint: $49,030
Starting salary range: $32,990-49,030
