Job Description:
Under the direction of the Executive Director, and working closely with the Human Resources Department, the Inclusion Liaison is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs and initiatives that promote inclusion within the organization.
Essential functions include:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of inclusion strategies and initiatives.
- Assisting in the development of training that promotes inclusion.
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of inclusion programs.
- Collaborating with the Human Resources Department on inclusive hiring practices.
- Assisting in writing and reviewing job postings that target qualified candidates and promote inclusivity.
- Acting as a resource for employees on inclusion-related issues.
- Serving as a member of Pace’s Inclusion Committee, communications subcommittee.
- Promoting a culture of inclusion through collaboration with the Chief Communications Office and the Inclusion Committee (including its communications subcommittee) on internal communications and events.
- Serving as project manager for inclusion-related agreements with vendors and contractors.
- Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in inclusion efforts.
- Staying updated on inclusion best practices.
- Processing employee recognition and service awards.
- Coordinating work anniversary acknowledgements.
- Performing other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
Education:
Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or a related field.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of five years of experience in inclusion roles, with a proven record of developing and implementing successful inclusion programs, developing, and conducting inclusion training, managing employee recognition programs, and reviewing and preparing job descriptions that promote inclusivity.
Certifications/Licenses:
Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential or equivalent is preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Essential Skills:
Must have a strong understanding of inclusion principles and best practices. Must have strong project management skills. Must be a highly organized, detail oriented, and resourceful team player. Must be able to successfully and efficiently work on multiple projects concurrently to meet deadlines. Must have strong computer skills, including using Westlaw and be proficient using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Adobe, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:
This position is based in an office setting. The workday is 8 hours and can begin as early as 7:00am and end no later than 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. However, the business needs of Pace may result in work schedules outside the typical hours/workdays. The position may require travel throughout the Pace service area. This position is not eligible for hybrid schedule or telecommuting.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, type on a computer, and travel to meetings.
Salary:
Full salary range: $70,902-141,875
Midpoint: $106,389
Starting salary range: $88,645.50-$106,389
