Job Description:
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance, or designee, is responsible for maintaining all records utilizing the Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (“EAM”) and Inventory system, and Fleet watch, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, issuing parts to mechanics, evaluating parts usage from equipment repair orders, handling bus down situations, reviewing inventory levels, preparing reorder notices to replenish and maintain inventory levels, verifying cycle counts, preparing requisitions, preparing and issuing transfers, maintaining Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (“MRO”) inventory balances, maintaining fluid levels, monitoring gas readings, maintaining a clean and organized stockroom, developing and maintaining good written and verbal communications and good rapport with Pace staff such as the Transportation, Maintenance staff, Materials Management personnel, vendors, Procurement staff, and Accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidate must be at least 21 years of age; have a High School Diploma or equivalency, have a valid Illinois driver's license with a good driving record and a good work history; previous experience in stockroom operations is preferred; must have or obtain a Forklift certification within six (6) months of being hired, have good verbal and written communication skills, possess basic skill level in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word and Excel); experience using the Oracle EAM and Inventory system is preferred. Must be able to work in a garage and stockroom environment where loud noise is often present and must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. This position requires on-site presence and is not eligible for telecommuting or a hybrid work schedule.
Full salary range: $40,983 - $76,986
Midpoint: $58,984
Starting salary range: $49,984-58,984
Pace provides full pay ranges so candidates can consider their growth potential. The final salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications.
