Job Description:
Under the direction of the Manager, Chicago Paratransit Contracted Services, the Operations Administrator II - RAP verifies customer eligibility, enrolls customers into user-side subsidy programs, provides customer service, and processes vendor invoices for reimbursement. The responsibilities include:
- Answering customer program inquiries, composing, and disseminating information and communicating with internal and external customers, including local service sponsors, contractors, public officials, public and private services agencies, and other Pace departments.
- In addition, enrolls and terminates customers timely in user-side subsidy programs by verifying customer eligibility, performs efficient and accurate job functions requiring the use of the various software programs utilized by Pace,
- Uses math and analytical skills to process vendor reimbursement while identifying potential misuse patterns to mitigate risk to Pace.
- This position also provides support for the daily operation of service as required, including unexpected occurrences.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related field is preferred.
Certifications:
Valid state of Illinois, Wisconsin, or Indiana driver's license and a good driving record.
Proficiencies:
Must be proficient in the use of computer software specifically, Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience with Trapeze, Oracle and Apex databases and Adobe Docs is preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, strong math and analysis skills, organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, and prioritize, are required.
Must be able to meet deadlines and adapt to a dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office environment. Will be required to travel to Pace project sites within the six-county RTA region and as needed be able to travel outside of the RTA region. This position is safety sensitive and subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after a 6-month job introduction period.

Full Salary Range: $50,467-106,032
Midpoint: $78,250
Starting Salary Range: $50,467 - 78,250
