Job Description:
Under the direction of the Section Manager, Facility Maintenance, the Senior Contract Administrator administers facilities maintenance contracts and prepares purchase requisitions for all construction and repair projects. Essential functions include:
- Prepares change order requisitions to ensure scope changes are incorporated into the project.
- Attends construction pre-bid meetings and provides bidders with information about contract compliance.
- Reviews scopes of work. Reviews and approves contractor's 10-day documents (including performance and payment bonds and schedule of values) to ensure contract compliance.
- Attends and conducts pre-construction meetings and prepares and distributes agendas and meeting minutes.
- Conducts all construction progress meetings.
- Monitors contractor/subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with Pace facility construction contract documents.
- Identifies contractor issues and reports them to management, and monitors status of completion of projects.
- Examines contractor's applications for payment and all waivers prior to making payment.
- Processes payments in Oracle once approved by Section Manager.
- Reviews certified payroll.
- Reviews change orders, project closeout documents and warranties, contractor shop drawing product submittals, and Operation and Maintenance Manuals to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Schedules completion of warranty work including coordination with necessary Pace personnel, contractors, and manufacturers.
- Reviews work orders included in the Oracle EAM System. Reviews and processes contractor invoices.
- Schedules inspections to be done by Pace's Facility Maintenance Specialist.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Must have a bachelor's degree and five years' experience in construction administration with a good work history.

Certifications:
A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Proficiencies:
Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
Must have strong computer aptitude and be proficient in Microsoft suites applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe. Prior experience using Oracle is required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, type on a computer, and travel to meetings.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment, however, local travel to Pace garages is also required.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after successful completion of a 6-month job introduction period.
Starting salary range: $63,306-98,157
Full salary range: $63,306-133,008
Salary midpoint: $98,157
