Job Description:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Customer Relations, the summer customer relations intern will assist the Customer Relations department with mail room duties, filling schedule requests, bulk, and inventory. A summer intern will assist with closing out customer reports and will be trained to contact Pace customers and provide verbal responses to their concerns/complaints. This is a great opportunity to develop customer relations skills in a call center/office setting. Essential functions will include.

- Learning and entering data using Customer Relations Management (CRM) software.
- Processing and closing out reports
. - Responding to Pace customer concerns and complaints.
Term of Internship:
June 2, 2025 - August 15, 2025
Up to 25 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Age:
18+.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalency and currently enrolled in a 2 year or 4-year accredited college or university and working toward a degree.
Proficiencies:
Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, type, and other related activities.
Work Location:
Pace Central Training and Customer Relations Facility, 2107B W. 163rd Place, Markham IL 60428.
Working Conditions:
The position is based in an office setting with standard office equipment. The typical workday is 8 hours; Monday through Friday, (8:30-5:00pm). However, the business needs of Pace may result in work schedules outside the typical hours/workdays. This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote telecommuting.
Salary:
$18/hour
