Pace is grateful for those medical personnel who have been on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19 for more than a year. We’re glad so many of those essential workers trusted Pace to get them safely to work every day.
As Illinois transitions into Phase 5 and emerges from the pandemic, Pace is ending the temporary waiver of fares for those medical personnel. As of Monday, August 9, 2021, medical personnel will be required to pay fares on all Pace services. Those affected should ensure their Ventra account balances have adequate funds available; check and/or replenish your balance at VentraChicago.com.
