Update: Pace Soldier Field Express to Serve More Games
Express service to first two Bears home games announced
Pace Suburban Bus continues the process of reinstating suspended services with the return of the Soldier Field Express on Sunday, September 19. This service operates between six suburban locations and Soldier Field for the first two games of the season. Service to games later in the season are tentative as a result of the nation-wide operator shortage.
For the 12 P.M. Bears home games on September 19 and October 3, fans can park for free at the Northwest Transportation Center (buses depart at 9:15 am), Bolingbrook – Old Chicago Park-n-Ride (buses depart at 9:30 am), Burr Ridge Park-n-Ride (buses depart at 10:00 am), Palos Heights Metra Station (buses depart at 9:50 am), Oak Lawn Metra Station (buses depart at 10:15 am), Hillside Park-n-Ride (buses depart at 9:40 am).
Please note that Pace can only provide a limited number of buses at each boarding location and riders are seated on a first-come-first-served basis. If all seats are filled, additional passengers may board but must stand during the ride. Pace may not be able to accommodate everyone who wants to ride, and at the driver’s discretion, may deny boarding after a bus is deemed full. Passengers are required to wear masks while on board a Pace vehicle and at all Pace facilities.
