Route 290 Detour Alert

Starts Monday, April 20, 2026

Due to construction on Courtland between Stewart and Belle Plaine in Park Ridge between Monday, April 20, 2026 and Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Route 290 will detour as follows in both directions:

Touhy Avenue ↔ Cumberland ↔ Belle Plaine ↔ Courtland ↔ resume regular route

During this detour, buses will not operate on Courtland between Belle Plaine and Summit or Summit between Touhy and Prospect. On the temporary route segments, bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments, including the intersection of Touhy and Summit for access to the Park Ridge Metra Station.
