Route 315​ Service Change

Effective Sunday, March 15, 2026

As part of a pilot project, Pace is improving and expanding service on Route 315. A summary of the changes is provided below:

All Service Days:

• Route 315 will be extended to the CTA Orange Line Midway Station. Buses will operate via Austin – 35^th – Central – 47^th – Cicero – 59^th – CTA Orange Line Midway Station. As a result, Route 315 will no longer operate on Austin Boulevard south of 35^th Street or on Pershing Road. As an alternative, please use the nearby Route 315 bus stops or Route 314.

• The route name is changing to Route 315 Austin Boulevard – Midway.

Weekday:

• Improved hours of service; service will be available from 4:45AM to 12:16AM.

• Improved service frequency; buses will run approximately every 15-30 minutes.

Saturday:

• Improved hours of service; service will be available from 4:45AM to 12:03AM.

• Improved service frequency; buses will run approximately every 15-45 minutes.

Sunday/Holiday:

• Improved hours of service; service will be available from 5:45AM to 12:03AM.

• Improved service frequency; buses will run approximately every 15-45 minutes.
