Route 543 and 803 Detour Alert
Effective Monday, March 30, 2026
Due to construction activity on Besinger Dr. between Ball Ave. and IL-25 in Carpentersville, Routes 543 and 803 will detour as follows until late 2026:
Route 543 & Route 803 Northbound
• IL-25 → Mall Dr. → Besinger Dr. → IL-25 → Ball Ave. →
Besinger Dr. (regular route).
• Buses will not serve Besinger Dr. between Ball Ave. and IL-25.
Please note that posted bus stop signs will not be present along the detour routing. Passengers may get on or off the bus at any intersection along the detour where it is safe to do so.
Buses will resume regular route upon the completion of construction, expected late 2026. Please allow additional travel time during the detour.
