Route 606 Detour Alert

Effective Thursday, April 16, 2026

Due to road construction on westbound Algonquin, between Busse and Briarwood, in Mount Prospect, westbound Route 606 buses will use the following detour beginning Thursday, April 16, 2026:

Algonquin → Busse → Golf → Goebbert → Algonquin (regular route)
 

Passengers will be picked up at a safe location along the detour route. Eastbound buses will continue to operate through the area as scheduled.

Westbound buses are expected to resume service through this area by June, 2026. Please be alert for additional detour notices as construction progresses. 

Please allow additional travel time while this detour is in effect.
