Route 711 Detour Alert
Effective Tuesday, January 28, 2025
Due to construction on Main Street between Front Street and Wesley Street in Wheaton, all Route 711 northbound trips will detour as follows:
Route 711 Detour (Northbound Only):
Front Street → Cross Street → Wesley Street → Main Street
Southbound Route 711 buses in this area will continue to operate as scheduled.
During this detour, Route 711 will not operate on Main Street between Front Street and Wesley Street.
On the temporary route segments, bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments.
Route 711 is scheduled to return to its regular route when construction is complete, which is expected to be Friday, March 21, 2025.
