Routes 524, 530 and 802 Detour Alert

Due to construction on IL-25/Broadway between New York Street and Galena Boulevard in Aurora, buses cannot turn left from Galena Boulevard to IL-25/Broadway. As a result, Routes 524 eastbound, 530 eastbound and 802 southbound buses will detour until construction is completed.

Galena Boulevard → Lincoln Avenue → New York Street → IL-25/Broadway → Regular Route

Please note that during this detour Routes 524 eastbound, 530 eastbound and 802 southbound buses will not operate on IL-25/Broadway between Galena Boulevard and New York Street.

Additionally, on the temporary segment of the route, bus stop signs are not present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any intersection along the detour where it is safe to do so.
