Rts 208, 240, 241, 270, 272 and Pulse Milwaukee Line Detour Alert
Due to a festival, Church Street will be closed between Cumberland Avenue and Greenwood Road in Niles. As a result, Routes 208, 240, 241, 270, 272 and the Pulse Milwaukee Line will operate on the following detour beginning Monday, May 11, 2026, through Monday, May 18, 2026:
Routes 208 (Eastbound), 270 (Northbound), 270 (Southbound), 272 (Northbound) and Pulse Milwaukee Line (Southbound)
Golf Mill Station → Church → resume regular route
Route 208 (Westbound), Route 240 (Southbound)
Golf Mill (JCPenney) → Church → Maryland → Milwaukee → Golf
→ resume regular route
Routes 241 (Northbound)
Greenwood → Golf → Milwaukee → Golf Mill Station
Routes 241 (Southbound)
Golf Mill Station → Church → Maryland → Milwaukee → Ballard → Greenwood → resume regular route
Impacted trips will enter/exit Golf Mill using the Church St. entrance east of Cumberland
Please note there will be no service on Church between Cumberland and Greenwood. Also, there will be no Route 241 (Southbound) service on Greenwood between Church and Ballard.
Service on Route 240 (Northbound), 272 (Southbound) & the Pulse Milwaukee Line (Northbound) will remain on the regular routing in this area.
Customers should expect delays due to this detour and should plan their trip accordingly.
