Thomas D. Marcucci
Director Marcucci served as Mayor of the City of Elmhurst from 1993-2009. He also served on the State of Illinois Legislative Map Redistricting Commission, the State of Illinois Elected and Appointed Officials Compensation Review Board, the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission, the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference, as President of the Chicago Metropolitan Mayors Caucus Executive Board, the US Conference of Mayors, the DuPage County Water Commission’s Board of Directors, the DuPage County Board’s Municipal Joint Storm Water Committee, the DuPage County PSAP / DuComm, and on Chicago 2016, Mayor Daley’s advisory commission in support of hosting the 2016 Olympics in Chicago.
Director Marcucci also served on the Make*A*Wish Foundation of Illinois’s Board of Directors and the Metropolitan Family Services of Chicagoland’s DuPage Board of Directors. He was co-founder of the Elmhurst Children’s Assistance Foundation and served the Haymarket Center’s Adult Rehabilitation Center.
Marcucci worked in sales and marketing, including Co-President, of Gonnella Baking Company in Schaumburg. He still serves on Gonnella’s Board of Directors. He was a member of the American Bakers Association from 1982 to 2020 and American Bakers Association Marketing Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Kedrion Biopharma, Inc. in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
Director Marcucci is a graduate of York Community High School in Elmhurst and Drake University in Des Moines, IA.
On Pace's Board of Directors, he represents DuPage County and is the Board’s marketing liaison. He has served on the Pace Board since 1998.
