Once certified as a DBE or SBE, the business must maintain that certification yearly. In order to maintain the certification, the firm must submit a Declaration of Eligibility (DOB) every year on the anniversary of the date of your certification. The DOB affirms that there have been no changes in the firm's circumstances affecting its ability to meet size, disadvantaged status, ownership, control requirements or any material changes in the information provided in its original application form.
A complete signed copy (including all schedules/attachments) of current year business tax return must be submitted with the DOE. Copies of current business, professional, construction trade license and/or permits must also be provided.
