Job Description:
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance, or designate, is responsible for daily servicing of Pace vehicles including: fueling and interior cleaning; accurately recording fuel and fluid information; operating wash rack, floor scrubber, and fare box vaulting system; parking and spotting of vehicles; installing, maintaining and removing passenger notices, bulletins, advertising, and postings on Pace vehicles; routine cleaning of building, grounds, and equipment utilized in performing these duties; reporting defects; completing all required documents and reports for work performed; and performing other duties as assigned.
NOTE: This is a bargained for position (Union) and is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess or be able to obtain a valid class "B" Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and Airbrake Endorsements. Must have a good work history and a record of safe driving for the last 5 years. Must have knowledge of service area and the ability to operate all company equipment. Must be must be able to lift 75 pounds to waist height, maintain and carry that weight for a minimum of ten feet. The performance of these duties may be required at any time of the day and night, any day and night of the week. This is a safety sensitive position.
