Heritage Division
The Heritage Division serves the southwest suburbs, including Will County and local Joliet service. It opened October 24, 2022. This facility was constructed in collaboration with the Village of Plainfield and is Pace’s first new fixed-route bus garage in more than 30 years. This 264,000 square ft state-of-the-art facility sits on a 11.92-acre site and has a capacity for 135 buses, which allows for future growth in Pace’s operations in Will County.
The garage replaced a 55,000 sq. ft. facility at 9 Osgood St. in Joliet, which had been the home for Pace's Will County operation since its renovation in 1985.
