Job Description:
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance, the Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining all records utilizing the Oracle system, Veeder-Root, and Fleetwatch. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and issuing parts and supplies;
- Handling incoming and outgoing shipments, evaluating parts usage from equipment repair orders; handling bus down situations;
- Reviewing stock levels;
- Preparing reorder notices to replenish and maintain inventory levels;
- Performing and verifying cycle counts;
- Investigating and resolving parts variances;
- Preparing requisitions;
- Preparing and issuing transfers;
- Maintaining MRO inventory balances;
- Monitoring gas readings and maintaining fluid and fuel levels;
- Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom;
- performing other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
Age:
21+.
Education:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Must have at least one year of previous experience in stockroom operations, shipping, and receiving, and have a good work history.
Certifications:
Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification within six months after date of hire.
Proficiencies:
Must demonstrate basic level proficiency utilizing Microsoft suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), experience with Oracle is preferred.
Must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and be able to work independently.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in stockroom, shipping, and receiving environment. This position is not eligible for hybrid schedule or telecommuting.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting bus parts weighing up to 75 pounds is often required.
Salary:
Full Salary Range: $38,123 – 71,614
Midpoint: $54,868
Starting Salary Range: $38,123 – 54,868
Pace provides full pay ranges so candidates can consider their growth potential. The final salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications.
