New rapid transit line to offer faster, more frequent bus service along 95th Street
Pace Suburban Bus invites all to attend a virtual public meeting to learn more about the agency’s plans to bring high-quality investments in public transportation to Chicago’s south side and south suburban communities with Pace’s new Pulse 95th Street Line. The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 5:00 PM via Zoom. More information, including registration information, is available here.
At the meeting, the project team will present information and answer questions about the new rapid transit line, including proposed Pulse station locations and roadway improvements. The Pulse 95th Street Line will run east-west between the CTA Red Line 95th/Dan Ryan Station in Chicago and Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, including stations along the way at popular destinations in Chicago, Evergreen Park, Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge, Bridgeview, and Palos Hills.
Pulse provides enhanced express bus service using the latest technology and streamlined route design. Passengers benefit from faster service with limited stops, free Wi-Fi, and modern, easy-to-find stations with amenities like heated shelters and real-time bus tracker information. Pulse also offers easier ADA accessibility with raised platforms at all stations. Public input will be a valuable resource as Pace reimagines service and implements new and innovative options to meet the needs of commuters today and in the future.
