Pulse Milwaukee, 208, 240, 241, 270, 272 Detour Alert

Due to a festival, Church Street will be closed between Cumberland Avenue and Greenwood Road in Niles. As a result, Routes 208, 240, 241, 270, 272 and the Pulse Milwaukee Line will operate on the following detour from 12PM to 9PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Routes 208 (Eastbound), 270 (Northbound), 270 (Southbound), 272 (Northbound) & Pulse Milwaukee Line (Southbound)

Golf Mill Station → use internal roadways at Golf Mill to access Church east of the Gordon Food Service store → Church → resume regular route
 

Route 208 (Westbound), Route 240 (Southbound)

Golf Mill Station → use internal roadways at Golf Mill to access Church east of the Gordon Food Service store → Church → Maryland → Milwaukee → Ballard → Greenwood → resume regular route
 

Routes 241 (Northbound)

Greenwood → Golf → Milwaukee → use internal roadways at Golf Mill to access the Golf Mill Station
 

Routes 241 (Southbound)

Golf Mill Station → use internal roadways at Golf Mill to access Church east of the Gordon Food Service store → Church → Maryland → Milwaukee → Ballard → Greenwood → resume regular route
 

Please note there will be no service on Church between Cumberland and Greenwood. Also, there will be no Route 241 (Southbound) service on Greenwood between Church and Ballard.
 

Service on Route 240 (Northbound), 272 (Southbound) & the Pulse Milwaukee Line (Northbound) will remain on the regular routing in this area.
 

Customers should expect delays due to this detour and should plan their trip accordingly.
