Route 290 Detour Alert

Starts Friday, July 10, 2026 (select dates only)

Courtland Ave., between Propsect and Crescent, will close in Park Ridge for the following summer events:

Concert in the Park:

Fridays, 7/10-8/14

3:00PM-10:00PM

National Night Out:

Tuesday, August 4, 4:00PM-10:00PM

Vine Street BBQ:

Saturday, August 15, 5:00AM-11:00PM

During these events, Route 290 buses will detour as follows:

Touhy ↔ Cumberland

On the detour, buses will not directly serve the Park Ridge Metra Station. Passengers looking to access the Park Ridge Metra Station can do so on Touhy.

On the temporary route segments, bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments. Please anticipate delays during this detour.
