Route 314 Detour Alert

Effective Tuesday, July 21, 2026

Due to construction activity on Ridgeland Avenue between North Boulevard and South Boulevard in Oak Park, Route 314 will operate on the following detour beginning Tuesday, July 21:

Route 314 Northbound Detour

Ridgeland Avenue → Madison Street → Harlem Avenue → Lake Street → End Northbound

Route 314 Southbound Detour

Lake Street → Humphrey Avenue → Lombard Avenue → Lake Street → Harlem Avenue → Madison Street → Ridgeland Avenue

While this detour is in effect, Route 314 will not operate on Ridgeland between Madison Street and Lake Street. ​

On the temporary route segments, bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments.

Buses will resume the normal routing when construction is complete, and it is expected to be Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
