Route 331 Detour Alert
Effective on the following dates ONLY:
Friday, June 26, through 9:00am Monday, June 29,
Friday, July 24, through 9:00am Monday, July 27,
Friday, August 28, through 9:00am Monday, August 31
Friday, September 25, through 9:00am, Monday, September 28, 2026
Due to the weekend event closures of a portion of Grand Boulevard between Grant Avenue and Prairie Avenue in the Village of Brookfield. Route 331 will operate on the following detour:
Route 331 Southbound Detour:
Maple Avenue → Washington Avenue → Prairie Avenue → Brookfield Avenue → End trips at Brookfield Village Hall
Route 331 Northbound Detour:
Start trips at Brookfield Village Hall → Brookfield Avenue → Prairie Avenue → Washington Avenue → Maple Avenue → Resume regular route
During this detour, buses will not operate on Grand Boulevard between Washington Avenue and Brookfield Avenue.
On the temporary route segments, posted bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments.
Trips that serve LaGrange/Hillgrove are not affected by this detour and will operate on the regular routing in this area.
