Route 422 Detour Alert
Effective Tuesday, August 6, 2024
Due to construction on Old Orchard Rd. in Skokie, Route 422 will detour as follows, starting Tuesday, August 6, 2024:
Old Orchard Rd. ↔ Woods ↔ Golf ↔ Lavergne ↔ Old Orchard Mall ↔ Lavergne ↔ Golf ↔Skokie Blvd.
During this detour, Route 422 buses will not serve Old Orchard Rd. between Woods and Skokie Blvd. or Lavergne between Old Orchard Mall and Old Orchard Rd.
On the temporary route segments, bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments.
Buses will detour until construction is completed, which is expected to be the at end of 2024. Please allow additional travel time during the detour.
