Route 508 Service Change

To improve operational efficiency, Route 508 will be altered to use, on a permanent basis, the detour routing on Eastern between Jefferson and Second.

Eastbound
Jefferson → Eastern → Second

Westbound
Second → Eastern

Route will no longer serve portions of Jefferson and Richards east of Eastern, making the detour on this segment that went into effect May 4, 2026, the permanent
routing.

Please note: The current detour on Washington between Henderson and Logan in Joliet is still in effect on a temporary basis. This change will impact all trips.
