Route 546 Detour Alert
Effective Wednesday, April 10, 2024
Due to construction on State in Elgin, Route 546 buses will operate on the following detour:
Route 546 Detour
State → Washburn → Griswold → Orange → Resume regular routing
During this detour, Route 546 buses will not serve State south of Washburn and Orange east of Griswold.
Buses will detour until construction is complete and the road reopens.
Please note that posted bus stops are not present along this route. Passengers may get on or off the bus at any intersection along the route where it is safe to do so. Please allow additional travel time during this period.
