Route 548 Detour Alert

Due to construction on Highland between McLean and Wing Park in Elgin, Route 548 trips will detour as follows:

Outbound: 

• Highland → Edison/Wing Park → Larkin (regular route)
• During this detour, outbound buses will not serve Highland from McLean to Wing Park or McLean from Highland to Larkin. 

Inbound: 

• Highland → McLean → Lawrence → Wing Park/Edison → Highland (regular route)
• During this detour, inbound buses will not serve Highland from McLean to Wing Park. 

Please note that posted bus stop signs will not be present along the detour routing. Passengers may get on or off the bus at any intersection along the detour where it is safe to do so.
