Route 571 Detour Notice

New Detour

Effective Monday, September 7, 2026 ONLY

Due to the closure of Emmaus from Shiloh to 23rd, 23rd from Emmaus to Sheridan, and Sheridan between 23rd and 31st, for the Labor Day Parade in Zion, Route 571 buses will operate the following detour on Monday, September 7, 2026, beginning at11:30AM:

Route 571 Northbound Detour
Sheridan → 31st → Gabriel → 27th → Resume regular routing

Route 571 Southbound Detour
21st → Elizabeth → 31st → Sheridan → Resume regular routing

During this detour, buses will not serve Sheridan between 31st and 21st, and 27th from Sheridan to Gabriel. Route 571 will resume operating on its regular route once Sheridan is re-opened, which is expected to be around 4PM.

Please allow additional travel time during the detour
