Route 832 Detour Alert

Construction work will close the Ruby Street bridge in Joliet. As a result, Route 832 buses will detour as follows:

Route 832 Eastbound Detour:

Scott – Columbia – Chicago – Ottawa – Jackson – Bridge – Broadway (regular route)
 

Route 832 Westbound Detour:

Broadway – Bridge – Jackson – Ottawa (regular route)
 

Buses will stop along the detour routing at any intersection where it is safe to do so.
 

Regular service is expected to resume in late December 2024, but weather may delay construction.
