Route 834 Detour Alert

Starts Thursday, June 25th, 2026

Due to Downers Grove Fest, Main Street will close at 1:00 PM in downtown Downers Grove. Buses will detour as follows:

Main ↔ Maple ↔ Washington ↔ Burlington ↔Washington ↔ Prairie ↔ Main (regular route)

During the detour, there will be no service on Main Street between Maple Avenue and Prairie Avenue.

On the detour routing, posted bus stop signs will not be present. Passengers can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along the detour routing.

Regular service will resume in this area on Monday, June 29th, 2026.​
