Detour Alert

Effective Wednesday, April 1, 2026

Due to construction on the College of Lake County (CLC) Campus on Lancer Lane from Washington to Willow, Route 565, 570, 572, and 574 trips will detour in both directions as follows:

Route 565

• US 45 ↔ Brae Loch ↔ Lancer Ln. ↔ CLC (Sunpivot Circle)
• Buses will not serve Washington between US 45 and Lancer Ln.

Route 570

• Atkinson ↔ Brae Loch ↔ Lancer Ln. ↔ CLC (Sunpivot Circle)
• Buses will not serve Atkinson between Brae Loch and Washington and Washington between Atkinson and Lancer Ln (weekdays). • Saturday only trips will detour CLC (Sunpivot Circle) → Brae Loch → Atkinson → Washington.

Route 572

• Washington ↔ US 45 ↔ Brae Loch ↔ Lancer Ln. ↔ CLC (Sunpivot Circle) • Buses will not serve Washington between US 45 and Lancer Ln.
• “L” trips will not be impacted by this detour.

Route 574

• US 45 ↔ Brae Loch ↔ Lancer Ln. ↔ CLC (Sunpivot Circle)
• Buses will not serve US 45 between Brae Loch and Washington and Washington between US 45 and Lancer Ln.

Passengers may get on or off the bus at any intersection along the detour where it is safe to do so. Buses will resume regular service in this area when construction is complete, expected mid to late summer 2026. Please allow additional travel time while this detour is in effect.
