Rts. 561, 562, 563, 564, 568 and 572 Detour Alert

Effective Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, 2026, ONLY
 

Due to the closure of County, Clayton, Genesee, Washington, and Water for Scoop Waukegan, Routes 561 Southbound, 562, 563, 564, 568, and 572 will detour as follows:

Route 561 Southbound

• Genesee → Grand → Sheridan → Waukegan Metra Station

• Buses will not serve Genesee south of Grand, and Washington east of Genesee.

Route 562 Eastbound (Friday Only)

• Washington → West → Grand → Sheridan → Washington → Waukegan Metra Station → Sheridan

• Buses will not serve Washington between West and Sheridan.

Route 562 Westbound (Friday Only)

• Sheridan → Grand → West → Washington

• Buses will not serve Clayton west of Sheridan, County north of Washington, and Washington between West and Sheridan.

Route 563 Southbound

• Sheridan → Grand → Amstutz Expressway → Sheridan

• Buses will not serve Clayton west of Sheridan, County north of Washington, Washington between County and Sheridan, and Genesee between Belvidere and Sheridan.

Route 564 Southbound and Route 568 Westbound

• Sheridan → Grand → Amstutz Expressway → Genesee → Belvidere

• Buses will not serve Clayton west of Sheridan, County north of Washington, Washington between County and Sheridan, and Sheridan between Washington and Belvidere.

Route 572

• Washington ↔ West ↔ Grand ↔ Sheridan ↔ Washington ↔ Waukegan Metra Station

• Buses will not serve Washington between West and Sheridan.

The existing 563, 564, and 568 long-term detour remains in effect. Please consult the Pace website for more information.
