Jemal Powell

Jemal Powell has been using Pace fixed route services for 25 years, including a time when he was home from college using Pace to connect to Metra. He is the chairman of Suburban ADA Advisory Committee and long-time member of the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois (Chicago Chapter) and serves as the chapter’s second vice president. He is also Chairman of the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois Transportation Committee. Jemal became involved with Pace in 2009 when he petitioned to save Saturday bus service in his area.
