Pulse - Dempster Line Route

Pulse offers a significant increase in service frequency along Dempster Street in addition to the local Route 250 bus service.

Pulse provides connections to major destinations and links to other bus routes and transit services. Pulse offers improved reliability due to new technology like Transit Signal Priority, enhanced stations with modern passenger amenities like heated shelters, real-time signage and level boarding for faster service. 

Every 15 minutes, most hours of the day

Pulse's Dempster Line operates every 15 minutes from approximately 5:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on weekdays, then every 20 minutes until approximately 1:00 a.m.  On weekends and holidays, service is every 15 minutes between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and every 20 minutes in early morning and late evening hours. For the complete current schedule click on "VIEW PDF SCHEDULE" above.

Major destinations are O'Hare Airport, Allstate Arena, Des Plaines Library, Maine East High School, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Notre Dame High School, Pulse Milwaukee Line, Dempster-Skokie Yellow Line station, and downtown Evanston.

Locations

Station locations were selected in collaboration with local communities and transportation and environmental agencies, as well as with input from the public.
