Pulse Dempster, 226, 230 and 250

Effective Monday, August 17, 2026

Due to construction at the Lee St. railroad crossing in downtown Des Plaines beginning on Monday, August 17, 2026, eastbound Pulse Dempster and Route 226 & 250 trips and southbound Route 230 trips will detour as follows:

Eastbound Pulse Dempster and Route 226 & 250

Lee → Algonquin → Wolf → Golf → Northwest Highway → Regular Route

Southbound Route 230

Thacker → Wolf → Golf → Northwest Highway → Regular Route

Eastbound Pulse Dempster and Route 226 & 250 riders looking to access destinations in Des Plaines prior to the detour may use a temporary stop at the northwest corner of Lee and Algonquin.

Westbound Pulse Dempster and Routes 226 & 250 trips and northbound Route 230 trips are not affected by construction and will operate their regular route.

Buses will detour until the completion of construction, which is expected to be on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Please allow additional travel time during this detour.
